Good afternoon fellow patriots!

A friend of mine has an incredibly courageous daughter in the Marines and is currently overseas in Afghanistan.  She recently sent an email home and Tonya was kind enough to share it with me with a very important message. 

Please go support Outback Steakhouse.  Here is the email in it's entirety:

"Hi everyone. For those of you who do not know, my daughter, Brigitte and her husband, Chase are United States Marines and are stationed in Helmund Province in southern Afghanistan. They are scheduled to come home by Thanksgiving this year. Thank God. Please keep them and all of our troops in your prayers.

I received a call my little Marine this weekend to tell me of one of the "greatest things that recently happened" over there. (You won't believe this.) After months of eating prepacked MRE's, The Outback restaurant chain sent them steaks, potatoes, and Bloomin' onions!! She said it was "the best thing I have EVER eaten!!" Of course, she's had Outback steak before, but I think under those conditions, it probably seemed like it to her and all of her mates. She said that it "tasted so good, I cried." I don't know how much they sent or to how many bases over there, but I do know that the 10,000 Marines on her base all got the best steak dinner they have had in many, many months.

Ok, why I am telling you all this. Well, besides the fact that it is good and happy news which I love to spread, I am asking a favor of you.

If you are going to go out to eat anytime in the coming weeks, would you please choose The Outback if there is one located near you. And, if you wouldn't mind, please ask to speak to the manager on duty and tell him just how much that act of kindness was appreciated by thousands of hungry Marines in the middle of the desert in Afghanistan. I really don't think this was done for any publicity because I heard nothing of it besides my daughter's phone call, but I sure would like to do something nice for them in return by boosting their business and thanking them for their generosity. I do want them to know that this did not go unnoticed. It is also a big help to our troops who really want to thank them, but find it difficult to do from so far away and they are a little busy right now, too. Thank you in advance! And, please keep our troops in your prayers. I know that God is watching over them.
