Prayer for Saturday, November 7th, 2009.

Jason Hoyt, co-host of the 'Tea Party Patriots LIVE' radio show, wrote the following prayer, and will be reading it on-air today at the close of the show. The vote may be taking place around 6pm, when the show concludes.

Please pray this prayer today and share it with your family, friends, neighbors and co-workers. God save the nation.

Dear God, Almighty Father,....

We are here today, in absolute awe of your gracious gift of life and for the blessings of Liberty you have bestowed upon our great nation. As we recognize the wisdom of our founding fathers in their acknowledgement of your hand in our nation’s birth, we are in desperate prayer tonight for that very wisdom, as we have volunteered tirelessly and united patriots across the country for months and months, as we have called, faxed, emailed, chanted, protested, rallied,...we've shed tears, we've made great sacrifices in time from our families, we've paid money in supplies and gas and airline tickets, and driven miles upon miles across the country,....all in the name of freedom and liberty. But tonight, we pray that you share your wisdom with our members in Congress that are placing a vote that has the potential to, and I quote, "remake America". We pray for integrity, and for their courage to do the right thing. We pray that at the last minute, many of them will clearly understand your will, they'll understand that the greatness in this country lies in its people, in our ability to solve our own problems, and in our dependence upon you,...not in the reliance upon government. Almighty God, you are our provider, and we ask that your will be done in the vote this evening, and that your will be understood by us all. We pray that you step in and preserve the very freedoms you’ve granted.
